YOUR GPS IS NOT OUR BUSINESS
PRIVACY POLICY
Effective 10 July 2026
Ving Labs built Gymmaxxing to keep gym commitments honest without building a continuous history of where you go.
1. Who operates Gymmaxxing
Gymmaxxing is operated by Ving Labs (“Gymmaxxing”, “we”, “us”). Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@vinglabs.com.
2. Data we process
- Gym setup: the gym name, address, coordinates, arrival radius, schedule, cutoff, and timezone you choose.
- Attendance: a generated event ID, check-in time, local date, and whether the check-in was automatic or manual.
- App identity: a random installation ID and a securely hashed authentication credential. Gymmaxxing does not require your name or email to use the core app.
- Purchases: product, transaction, subscription, and entitlement information supplied by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card details.
- Support and security: information you send to support plus ordinary server records such as request time, response status, and security events.
3. Location
Foreground location lets you set or confirm your gym. If you enable automatic check-ins, your device monitors one geofence around that gym. When you arrive, the app creates an attendance event. We store the gym location you selected and the resulting check-in—not a route, a continuous GPS feed, or a history of other places.
Automatic tracking is optional. You can use manual check-in and change location permission at any time in your device settings.
4. Why we use data
We use data to operate check-ins, schedules, streaks, widgets, subscription access, support, fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal data and do not use precise location for advertising.
5. Service providers
Infrastructure providers host and protect app data on our behalf. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information, while Apple and Google process store payments under their own terms and privacy policies. These providers may process information in countries other than your own using the safeguards available under applicable law.
6. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Gym configuration and attendance remain until you delete app data or they are no longer needed to operate the service. Security, transaction, and accounting records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Use Settings → Delete app data or follow our web deletion instructions. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data. Contact us to exercise a right. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Security, children, and updates
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. Gymmaxxing is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or law changes and will publish the new effective date here.
